The NOPD is searching for a man after he grabbed a handful of cash from the cash register at the Circle K and Exxon business early this morning (Jan.5).
The victim told police at around 2:18 a.m. an unknown male entered the Circle K and Exxon store in the 700 block of Howard Avenue. The victim said an unknown male was seen getting a fountain drink and was then seen standing in line. The victim then told police once the suspect pulled out cash to pay for his drink, he then reached over the counter and grabbed a handful of cash from an open cash register. The suspect was then seen driving in a silver, Toyota Corolla with a Louisiana license plate of N47395.
