The NOPD is searching for Shawn Cosse also known as the “The Running Man” (DOB: 09-25-1980) after he took various candy items from the Family Dollar store.
The incident happened on January 6, 2017. At around 7:30 a.m., Cosse entered the store in the 2100 block of Caton Street. Cosse was then seen by a shopper walking to the back of the store and stuffing candy, cookies and ice cream into his pants. The manager advised the reporting officers that Cosse had been previously warned to stay out of the store.
Cosse is currently wanted for theft and criminal trespassing.
