Automobile Reported Stolen in Carjacking on Calhoun Street

Automobile Reported Stolen in Carjacking on Calhoun Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a vehicle reported as stolen during an unarmed carjacking that occurred in the 2800 block of Calhoun Street on January 21, 2017.

The victim told police that at about 1:46 a.m., the victim pulled into his girlfriend’s driveway driving his black 2014 Audi A4 automobile, bearing California license plate 7BOH524. The victim exited the vehicle, leaving the engine running and his girlfriend sitting in the vehicle’s back seat, and entered the residence. At that time, the female victim told police, an unknown black then entered the vehicle and threatened her. She told police she then exited the vehicle, leaving her iPhone, purse and other personal belongings in the vehicle. The subject then fled the scene in the vehicle.

The subject was described as a black male possibly in his 20s, standing between 5’10” and 6’0” tall with a medium build and short beard. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.

Included with this release is photo of a vehicle similar in color, year, make and model to the vehicle stolen in this incident.
