The NOPD is investigating an auto burglary that occurred in the 4400 block of South Robertson Street on January 12, 2017, and detectives are seeking to identify and locate a suspect caught on surveillance video.

The victim told police that at about 3:15 p.m., he left his 2002 GMC Sierra truck locked and parked in the parking lot of the All Nations Fellowship Church, located at 4420 South Robertson Street. The victim said when he returned to the truck at about 4 p.m. he observed the rear tailgate down and found a red Milwaukee drill set and a green Makita drill set both missing from the vehicle.

A review of surveillance footage showed an unidentified male ride into the parking lot on a yellow bicycle and then pry open the rear glass of the truck’s camper top, gaining access to the bed of the truck. The subject then removed the two drill sets and rode away from the scene on a bicycle. The male subject was described as having dreadlocked hair and wearing black pants, a grey hooded sweatshirt and a black backpack.

Surveillance footage of the incident can be viewed at https://youtu.be/ERX3W9LyGtI.
