New Orleans Police are investigating a homicide.
According to Investigators, Seventh District Officers responded to a call of a shot person inside a residence in the 5900 block of Boeing Street. Upon arrival Officers discovered a 24 year old male suffering from at least one gun shot wound.
Officers determined that the shooting occurred in the 3900 block of Downman Road. The 24 year old victim was transported from that location to the 5900 block of Boeing Street by private conveyance, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Orleans Parish Coroner will identify the victim and provide the exact cause of death once the family of the victim has been notified of the death.
