The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a subject wanted in connection with multiple auto burglaries in the Eighth District.
On December 15, 2022, Eighth District officers were called to the intersection of Lafayette Street and South Peters for reports of subjects smashing in car windows and stealing items from inside the vehicles.
Through investigation, detectives identified Travis Jordan (pictured, black male DOB: 06-11-2000) as one of the alleged perpetrators of these incidents and several more car burglaries elsewhere in the Central Business District. Warrants for Jordan's arrest have been issued on six counts of simple burglary (vehicle).
