NOPD Searching for Suspects in ATM Theft

The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating two suspects wanted in connection with the theft of an ATM machine and the attempted theft of another on January 10, 2023.

Through investigation, NOPD First District detectives have linked the same two black male suspects (pictured) to the burglary of a local business and the theft of an ATM machine in the 2500 block of Esplanade Avenue to an attempted bank ATM theft in the 5400 block of Tchoupitoulas Street the same day.

In the Esplanade incident, the suspects allegedly used a dark gray Ford F-250 pick-up truck with a damaged tailgate to break through the exterior wall and gain entry into the business and steal the ATM machine.

Surveillance video shows these same suspects allegedly trying to break into a bank ATM in the 5400 block of Tchoupitoulas and driving the same dark gray Ford F-250.

Anyone with information as to the identity of these suspects, the vehicle or these incidents is asked to contact First District detectives at (504) 658-6010 or Crimestoppers anonymously at (504) 822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-7867.
