NOPD Searching for Suspect in Identity Theft

The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with identity theft, possession of stolen things and access device fraud.

On December 9, 2022, the victim reported to officers in the Eighth District that he was robbed of his wallet, cellphone and watch.  Later he reported that several unauthorized purchases were illegally charged to his credit cards.

Through investigation, officers identified Myasia D. Johnson (pictured, black female DOB: 04/30/1995) as the alleged perpetrator.  She was last known to be driving a white four door 2021 Audi A5 (pictured, with Texas license plate: PGH1506).

Johnson is wanted on one count of one count of felony identity theft, illegal possession of stolen things, and one count of access device fraud.

Anyone with information as to her whereabouts or other information about this incident is asked to call Eighth District detectives at (504) 658-6080 or Crimestoppers anonymously at (504) 822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-7867.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
