Pro-Active NOPD Patrol Leads to Narcotics Arrest

A pro-active patrol by NOPD Seventh District officers led to the arrest of one person and the confiscation of various narcotics and cash.

On January 3, 2024, at about 9:16 p.m., Seventh District officers were patrolling in the 9700 block of Chef Menteur Highway and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver was detained after officer's saw narcotics in plain view.  A search warrant led to the confiscation of cocaine, marijuana, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, cash and narcotics paraphernalia.

Arrested was Manuel Trueblood, black male DOB: 8-25-1971.  Trueblood was booked accordingly into the Orleans Justice Center.
