The NOPD is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred on January 12, 2024, at the intersection of Wall Boulevard and Westbend Parkway that left an adult male dead.
Around 6:51 p.m., the driver of a pickup truck was traveling westbound on Wall Boulevard and turned left on Westbend Parkway. The driver collided with an adult male on a small motorcycle/scooter, who was traveling eastbound on Wall Boulevard.
The driver of the pickup truck remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will identify the victim in this incident upon completion of autopsy and notification of family.
