Suspect Wanted for Battery on NOPD Officer in Third District

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating an unknown suspect in the investigation of a battery upon a police officer that occurred on January 3, 2022 in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue.

At approximately 1:20 a.m., the pictured unknown white male armed himself with a metal chair and struck a fully uniformed NOPD officer on scene before fleeing. The officer sustained minor injuries.

The subject is believed to be approximately 21 years old, standing about 5’11” with a medium build. Upon location, the suspect will be arrested for battery of a police officer.
