NOPD Seeking Person of Interest in Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is seeking assistance with locating a subject identified as a person of interest for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a homicide on December 3, 2021 in the 2300 block of North Galvez Street.

During the course of investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives have developed and identified Jahlil Haroon (pictured, black male, DOB: 06-28-2000) as a person of interest. Haroon is not currently wanted on criminal charges. However, detectives feel he may have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to interview him. Additionally, Haroon is sought for a DNA buccal swab in this investigation.
