NOPD Arrests Suspect in Third District Auto Burglary

The NOPD has arrested Terrica Jones (pictured, female, DOB: 11-11-1986) in the investigation of an auto burglary on January 20, 2021 in the 4300 block of Bienville Street.

At about 7:41 p.m., NOPD Third District officers responded to an auto burglary in the 4300 block of Bienville Street. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who observed an unknown subject rummaging through his vehicle. Officers were given a description and later located the subject, who was identified as Jones. Jones was positively identified as the perpetrator and arrested. During investigation, Jones was also discovered to be in possession of a handgun concealed inside her waistband and an additional handgun concealed in a backpack.

Jones was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for auto burglary and illegal carrying of a firearm.
