The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for David Dixon (pictured, DOB: 04-28-1985) in the investigation of an attempted armed robbery that occurred on January 3, 2020.
Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives determined that at about 1:28 a.m., Dixon approached the victim while armed with a handgun in the 600 block of Ursulines Avenue, where he allegedly demanded the victim’s property at gunpoint. Dixon was reportedly unsuccessful and then fled the scene.
