Simple Robbery Suspect Sought in Eighth District Incident

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify a suspect in the investigation of a simple robbery that occurred on January 16, 2020.

At approximately 2:40 a.m., the victim was inside of a business in the 200 block of Bourbon Street. The victim relocated to the restroom, at which time the pictured male subject allegedly entered the restroom and snatched the victim’s gold Rolex watch from his wrist. The subject then reportedly ran out of the establishment onto Iberville Street towards Royal Street and then unknown. The victim gave a brief chase but lost sight of the suspect.

The perpetrator was described as a black male, about 6’1” in height with a slim build, clad in a white mesh hat with a black front, white t-shirt and dark colored pants.
