The NOPD has arrested Dominic Massa (DOB: 5-25-1994) in the investigation of an aggravated battery by shooting. The incident occurred today, January 7, in the 100 block of Bourbon Street.
At about 6:58 a.m., the female victim was shot in the elbow. The victim was transported to a local hospital via EMS.
Through investigation, Massa was later determined to be the perpetrator of the shooting.
Tonight, NOPD Eighth District detectives, with the assistance of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff Office apprehended Massa without incident.
Massa was booked with aggravated battery by shooting.
