Suspect Wanted for Shoplifting & Resisting Arrest in Fourth District

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating Andrelle Weaver (DOB: 06-29-1994), after she was accused of shoplifting and resisting an officer in the 3000 block of Holiday Drive.

On January 9, 2019, Weaver was observed on surveillance video footage concealing merchandise from the business with another subject. When the subjects were approached by the officers, Weaver reportedly fled the location to the parking lot of the business and was observed entering a white four-door Infiniti sedan, bearing Texas temporary license plate.

Weaver’s accomplice was apprehended at the location and transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center, where she was booked accordingly. When located, Weaver should be booked with theft and resisting an officer.

Anyone with any information regarding Weaver’s whereabouts should contact Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
