NOPD Seeking Suspects in First District Auto Burglaries

The NOPD is seeking to identify five individuals believed to be responsible for two vehicle burglaries incident that occurred on January 16, 2019 in the 700 block of South Pierce Street.

The above pictured unidentified subjects arrived in the 700 block of South Pierce Street in the pictured black four-door vehicle.  The subject who exited from the front passenger side door was observed breaking the driver’s side window of the victim’s vehicle using a window punch tool. The subject then entered the victim’s vehicle by unlocking the door through the broken window, which was kicked in by the subject identified as the back middle passenger of the suspect vehicle.

Meanwhile, the suspect vehicle’s rear passenger side passenger used a window punch took to break the second victim’s vehicle window and gain access.

A subject described as the rear driver’s side passenger of the suspect vehicle acted as a lookout while the other subjects burglarized the vehicles. The suspect vehicle’s driver remained inside of the suspect vehicle throughout the incident.
