The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify two subjects seen on surveillance in commission of a vehicle burglary incident in the 6400 block of Bellaire Drive on January 21, 2019.

A witness told police that at about 5:45 p.m., he was in the back yard of his residence when he observed a newer model white Toyota RAV4 pull up in front of his neighbor’s residence. An unknown individual then reportedly exited the vehicle – described as a male with a slim build and standing about 5’10”, wearing a red hooded jacket with the hood over his head, dark colored pants and possibly wearing a mask. The individual allegedly entered the neighbor’s black 2017 Ford F-250 truck through the driver’s side door.

The witness added that he saw a second individual – described as a male with a slim build, approximately 5’9” tall and wearing a gray or white hooded jacket with the hood over his head, wearing white or gray pants and possible wearing a mask – exit the rear passenger side of the white Toyota and approach the truck.  The witness said he then yelled at the subjects, causing them both to flee the location in the white Toyota.

The victim told police he was in the backyard of his residence at the time of the incident and also witnessed the subjects fleeing the area in the Toyota RAV4. The victim said nothing appeared to be missing from his vehicle.

The same white Toyota vehicle was also reported to have been seen in the surrounding area, with its occupants allegedly pulling on car door handles.
