NOPD officers are searching for Ashton Johnson (DOB: 02-22-1999) who is wanted for his alleged involvement in a Seventh District aggravated battery by shooting incident.
On December 28, 2018, at or around 11 a.m., the pictured subject reportedly arrived at the victim’s residence, located in the 8800 block of Tilford Road and became involved in an altercation with the victim. During the altercation, Johnson allegedly produced a handgun and pointed the weapon at the victim. Officers learned that the victim and Johnson engaged in a struggle over the handgun and the firearm discharged, striking the victim in the right shoulder. Johnson fled the location and the victim was transported to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury.
