NOPD officers are searching for a subject who was observed on surveillance video while burglarizing a business located in the 3600 block of MacArthur Boulevard.

The reporting person told police that around 7 p.m. on January 11, 2019, she received a call from her alarm monitoring company informing her of an intruder at her business.

Upon further investigation, officers reviewed surveillance video from this incident and observed the subject approach the side entry door to the business. The subject struck the glass door with a hammer, smashing out the glass, before making entry into the business through the damaged door. The subject then relocated to the lobby where the cash registers were located and reportedly removed some cash from one of the registers. The subject fled the scene on foot, heading southbound toward Garden Oaks Drive.

The pictured subject is described as a black male, approximately 5’5 - 5’8 tall, thin build, attired in a navy blue baseball cap, a blue jacket with a silver stripe on the back, dark colored pants, red Nike tennis shoes and was carrying a dark colored duffel bag.

Anyone with any information that can help Fourth District detectives identify and locate the wanted subject should call 504-658-6040. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
