NOPD Identifies Suspect in Fifth District Aggravated Assault Incident

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating Ivory Grace (DOB: 04-05-1988), who is wanted in connection with an aggravated assault incident that occurred in the Fifth District.

The victim told police that he was employed at a business located in the 3100 block of St. Claude Avenue and was given instructions to fire Grace after he did not come to work. Grace was fired by the victim on December 11, 2018. Grace reportedly became irate and began threatening the victim.

Grace allegedly returned to the location on January 3, 2019, produced a black semi-automatic handgun and threatened to kill the victim. The subject then fled the location in a black Cadillac. The subject reportedly returned to the location again on January 7, 2019, produced the same black semi-automatic handgun and threatened to kill the victim, before fleeing the scene.

Grace is described as a black male, mid to late 20's, approximately 5’11 tall, thin build with a fade haircut.
