NOPD Arrests Three Suspects in Armed Robbery on Perrier Street

The NOPD has arrested Shomari Christophe (pictured at top left, DOB: 03-09-2000), Keyon Doby (pictured at top right, DOB: 04-28-1999) and  Antonio Coillins (pictured at bottom, DOB: 12-25-1998) in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on October 7, 2018 in the 4900 block of Perrier Street.

At approximately 8:55 p.m., the victim was reportedly riding his bicycle in the 4900 block of Perrier Street when he observed a vehicle driving slowly behind him. The victim moved to the side of the road and the vehicle, occupied by three unknown black males, allegedly stopped alongside the victim. An unknown black male reportedly then exited the rear of the vehicle armed with a gun and demanded the victims backpack. The victim handed over the back pack and the subject got back into the vehicle and fled the area.

Through investigation, NOPD Second District detectives were able to obtain arrest warrants for the three aforementioned subjects for armed robbery with a gun in this incident.

NOPD Seventh District Task Force officers located Christophe on January 8, 2019, while members of the NOPD’s Violent Offenders Warrant Squad located Doby and Collins on January 17. Each of the suspects were arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center accordingly.

Anyone with additional information on this incident is asked to contact NOPD Second District detectives at 504-658-6020.
