The NOPD has arrested Antonio Ward (DOB: 10-14-1992) after he was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics with intent to distribute.
On January 23, 2019, at about 11:00 p.m., NOPD Eighth District officers were on patrol near the intersection of Clinton and Bienville streets when they observed what they believed to be a hand-to-hand drug transaction. Upon approaching an illegally parked vehicle at the location, the lone occupant reportedly attempted to hide from officers a large plastic jar containing what appeared to be multiple bud of vegetative matter, a block of clear plastic bags and a digital scale.
