Suspect Wanted for Unauthorized Use of a Movable

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Kennitra Williams (DOB: 06-05-1994) in connection with the unauthorized use of a moveable that occurred on November 25, 2017 in the 6200 block of Chef Menteur Highway

On the date of the incident, Williams is believed to have rented a 2016 Ford Cargo Van from a U-Haul store in the 6200 block of Chef Menteur Highway. The vehicle was scheduled to be returned on November 28, 2017. However, the vehicle was never returned. The company made several attempts to locate the vehicle, including sending certified demand return letters to the suspect’s address in Slidell, La. The company has not been able to locate the vehicle.

Case officers obtained an arrest warrant for Williams for unauthorized use of a moveable (rental vehicle). The van features Arizona license plate AH18739.
