Suspect Sought by NOPD in Armed Robbery on Kerelec Street

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify an individual sought as a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred in the 1000 block of Kerelec Street on January 23, 2018.

The victim told police that at about 5 p.m., he had left the front door of his residence open as a friend arrived. An unknown black male then entered the residence wearing a black cap and black jacket and stood in the doorway with what the victim described as a silver handgun. The victim said the male demanded all of the victim’s money. The victim complied, at which time the subject exited the residence and fled the scene in an unknown black vehicle toward Burgundy Street.
