Officers in the Eighth District quickly arrested Darnelle Johnson (DOB: 12/03/99) after an armed robbery by knife-point incident.
The incident happened on January 9, 2018. At about 4:30 p.m., two victims were walking in the 600 block of Pere Antoine Alley when an unknown black male – later identified as Darnelle Johnson – approached the couple and demanded money while pointing a knife at the both of them.
The victims complied and Johnson fled the location. While canvassing the area, officers observed Johnson in the 600 block of North Rampart Street.
He was transported to Central Lockup and booked accordingly.
