Six-Month Investigation Leads to Three Drug and Weapons Arrests

The NOPD arrested three subjects in the Fourth District on drug and weapons charges.

 

On Wednesday, January 24, 2017, Fourth District Narcotics Detectives concluded a six-month investigation into known SuWu Gang members.

 

The Fourth District Narcotics Detectives assisted by the NOPD’s Special Operation Division served a simultaneous search warrant in the 800 block of Vallette Street and the 400 block of Elmira Street.

 

The warrant yielded two firearms, powder cocaine, marijuana, and cash.

 

The following individuals were arrested:

 

  • Lance Alexander B/M (DOB: 6-20-1983)
  • Joseph Boudreaux B/M (DOB: 12-4-1986)
  • Jerome Canselo B/M (DOB: 3-14-1984)

 

Each of the three individuals face charges of possession of a firearm while in possession of illegal narcotics, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana.
