NOPD Searches for Vehicle & Person of Interest in Armed Robbery Incident

The NOPD Eighth District officers are searching for the pictured subject who is identified as a person of interest in an armed robbery incident that occurred on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

The incident happened at or about 5 p.m. The reporting person told police he was at his residence located in the 1000 block of Kerlerec Street waiting for his acquaintance to visit. The victim noticed two unknown males sitting inside of a dark colored vehicle that was parked across the street from his home.

The victim’s acquaintance arrived and they stood in the door way, at which time an unknown subject approached the victim with a silver handgun and demanded his money. The subject took the victim’s money and entered the vehicle that was previously seen parked across the street from the victim’s residence. The vehicle fled down Kerlerec Street toward Burgundy Street.
