The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify a suspect in the investigation of a theft that occurred on January 25, 2020.
At about 12:00 p.m., the victim was reportedly shopping at a grocery store in the 3200 block of Magazine Street when she briefly walked away from her cart, which contained her purse. The victim then returned to the cart and found her wallet missing from her purse. The pictured suspect was observed on security camera stealing the victim’s wallet and exiting the store.
The suspect is described as an unknown black male estimated to be approximately 40 years old with a light complexion.
