The NOPD is seeking the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with an identity theft investigation.
Jeffrey Michael Hunt, (pictured, White male DOB: 5/31/1978) is charged with using the victim's identity & social security number to fraudulently create a utility account.
The incident happened in July 2, 2025 in the 700 block of Evelina Street in the Fourth District.
When located, Hunt will be charged with identity theft, access device fraud, forgery and computer fraud.
Anyone with information as to the suspect's whereabouts is asked to contact Fourth District detectives at (504) 658-6040.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
