New Orleans Police are asking the public's help with locating a suspect wanted for battery and theft.
According to investigators, an unknown male (pictured) entered a business in the 500 block of Frenchman Street on January 26, 2024.
The suspect took merchandise without paying for the items.
An employee of the business confronted the suspect as he was exiting the store. The suspect struck the employee with a weapon and then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
