NOPD Seeking Suspect in Attempted Simple Robbery

New Orleans Police are asking for the public's help in  locating a suspect wanted for attempted simple robbery.

On February 18, 2024 at about 6:16 p.m., an attempted simple robbery occurred at a business in the 5300 block of General de Gaulle Drive.

The pictured subject allegedly He took the victim's purse, rummaged through it, and discarded the purse as he exited the business.

The suspect is described as a  Black male,  about 5' 6" tall and about 20 t o 25 years of age. He was wearing a blue knit cap, a black jacket, and black trousers.
