The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a subject wanted in connection with a theft by fraud early this morning (February 2, 2023).
At around 3:24 a.m., an 18-wheeler pulled into a truck stop in the 5000 block of Old Gentilly Road and the driver proceeded to pump multiple gallons of gas into the vehicle.
When it came time to pay, the suspect, (pictured,unknown black male), allegedly used a gas card that was declined and the suspect then fled without paying.
