The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating two people wanted for questioning in a homicide investigation in the Fifth District.

On February 5, 2023, in the early morning hours, a homicide occurred outside of a business in the 2400 block of Elysian Fields Avenue.

When officers arrived, they discovered a 60-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.  The Orleans Parish Coroner identified the victim as Rory Gonlag.

Upon investigation, the two pictured persons of interest were seen near the victim at the time of the incident and investigators believe they may have information pertinent to the investigation.  These subjects are not wanted in this incident, they are being sought for questioning only.
