NOPD Identifies Suspect Wanted in Fourth District Shooting

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Kaneisha Danielle Manuel (pictured, black female, DOB: 07-15-1987) in the investigation of a shooting that occurred on February 4, 2023, in the 14600 block of Saigon Drive.

At about 8:26 p.m., NOPD Seventh District officers responded to the location and discovered that a juvenile male had sustained an gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was transported via EMS to a local hospital.

Through investigation, NOPD Seventh District detectives have determined Manuel to be the perpetrator who discharged a firearm into the victim’s residence, striking the victim. An arrest warrant has been obtained on one count of aggravated second-degree battery and aggravated assault.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
