The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a subject sought for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a homicide on February 3, 2022 in the 6700 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives have developed Dolores Simmons (aka Delores Lawrence, pictured, black female, DOB: 11-05-1981) as a person of interest in this case. Simmons is not currently wanted on criminal charges. However, detectives feel she may have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to question her.
