NOPD Arrests Suspect in First District Armed Robbery Investigation

On February 1, 2022, the NOPD arrested Sidney Cheneau Sr. (pictured, black male, DOB: 03-19-1988) in the investigation of an armed robbery incident on January 28, 2022 in the 600 block of South Galvez Street.

Cheneau was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for armed robbery with a firearm, felon in possession of a firearm and illegal carrying of a weapon.
