Suspect Arrested in Fourth District Armed Robbery

The NOPD has arrested Jebrian Williams (pictured, male, DOB: 02-23-1995) in the investigation of an armed robbery on January 1 in the 2200 block of Springbrook Lane.

In this incident, the victim was inside her residence when the above subject reportedly arrived at the location. The victim then allowed the subject inside her residence, at which time they engaged in a verbal argument. During the argument, the subject allegedly armed himself with a knife and robbed the victim of her money. The subject then fled the location. Further investigation later led detectives to positively identify Williams as the perpetrator and obtain a warrant for his arrest.

At about 9:00 p.m. on January 30, NOPD Fourth District officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 4100 block of General DeGaulle Drive. The subject causing the disturbance at the location was later identified as Williams. Officers safely detained Williams and learned that he was wanted for the aforementioned armed robbery.

Williams was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for armed robbery.
