The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate two subjects believed to be responsible for multiple purse theft incidents in the Eighth District
On November 15, 2018 at about 12:30 a.m., the victim was inside of a restaurant located in the 800 block of Esplanade Avenue. While inside of the establishment her purse was stolen from the back of her chair. Surveillance video captured the above two black males stealing the victim’s purse.
NOPD detectives also received surveillance video of two additional purse thefts, involving the same two black males. Both additional incidents occurred at the same location. The above black males appear to be in the late 50’s to early 60’s, well dressed and both wearing glasses.
