The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate a suspect in connection with a theft that occurred in the 800 block of Iberville Street on January 14, 2019.
At about 8:10 a.m., the victim was reportedly sitting at a table at a restaurant in the block eating breakfast. When she finished eating, she reached for her purse which she had reportedly left hanging from the back of her chair, only to find the purse missing. After notifying management of the incident, a review of surveillance video showed the pictured unknown black male removing the victim’s purse from the chair and placing it inside of his jacket before he left the location on foot.
