The NOPD is seeking to locate a person of interest for questioning in the investigation of an aggravated criminal damage to property incident that occurred on December 25, 2018 in the 7300 block of Read Boulevard.
The incident occurred outside of an event hall in the block, as the subject was seen on surveillance video apparently firing a handgun multiple times at another subject across the parking lot. The second subject then allegedly returned fire. The person of interest is then seen walking across the camera frame holding two guns before fleeing on foot.
No injuries were reported in this incident, which is believed to have caused damage to multiple occupied vehicles and put lives at risk.
