NOPD Searches for Person of Interest Wanted for Questioning in First District Homicide

The NOPD is searching for a person of interest wanted for questioning in connection with a First District Homicide.

 

Jerilynn Scott (DOB: 7-21-1976) is a person of interest in the shooting death of Kenneth Jones who was shot and killed on Saturday, February 9, 2019 in the 1800 block of Iberville Street. Scott is NOT WANTED but is needed for questioning.

 

Anyone with information on this incident or the whereabouts of Jerilynn Scott is asked to contact Detective Tanisha Sykes of the Homicide Unit at 504-658-5300 or call Crimestoppers anonymously at 504-822-1111 and toll-free at 1-877-903-7867.
