NOPD Arrests Suspect in Fourth District Vehicle Burglary

The NOPD has arrested Tyler Dean Trascher (DOB: 10-29-1995) in connection with a simple burglary incident that occurred on February 22, 2019 in the 1500 block of Richland Road.

At about 5:52 a.m., a male subject was captured on video and observed by the victim entering the victim’s vehicle and removing property. The subject was also observed pulling on several additional car door handles in the area. The subject was apprehended shortly afterwards and positively identified as Trascher.

Trascher was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for simple burglary of a vehicle and criminal mischief.
