NOPD Arrests Suspect for Possession of Stolen Vehicle

The NOPD arrested Collis Holloway (DOB: 03-09-1992) of LaPlace on February 22, 2019, after he was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., NOPD Seventh District officers on patrol in the 4500 block of Dale Street when they observed a subject parked in the driveway of an abandoned residence. After checking the vehicle’s license plate, officers learned the vehicle had been reported stolen from Kenner, La. Officers confronted the vehicle’s driver, later identified as Holloway, and were able to take Holloway into custody without incident. A subsequent search of Holloway’s person revealed him to be in possession of narcotics.

Holloway was arrested and booked accordingly into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
