Suspects Sought in Aggravated Battery on North Broad

Officers in the Fifth District are seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating two male subjects wanted in connection with an aggravated battery incident involving a firearm.

The incident happened on February 20, 2018. At approximately 4:16 a.m., the unknown subject pictured below wearing a blue t-shirt approached the window of the Triangle Deli at 1904 N. Broad Street and asked the victim if his friend was at work. The victim then told the subject that his friend no longer works at the location. At that time, the subject became angry and walked to the driver’s side of his vehicle, a gray four-door Hyundai, and produced a semi-automatic pistol. The subject then unloaded the weapon and then reloaded the weapon flashing it at the victim.

The suspect then placed the weapon on the front seat and continued to yell at the victim.

He then reached into the vehicle, produced the pistol again and placed it on his waistband. As the incident progressed, the suspect produced the pistol a third time while threatening to shot the victim. Both subjects then fled the location.

Anyone with any information regarding the incident or identity of the subjects below should contact any Fifth District officer at 504-658-6050 or anonymously to CrimeStoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll free at 1-877-903-7867.
