NOPD Seeking Suspect, Vehicle in Shooting, Attempted Armed Robbery on Harmony Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying a suspect and vehicle wanted in connection with an aggravated battery by shooting that occurred during an attempted armed robbery in the 400 block of Harmony Street on January 30, 2018.

At approximately 11:05 p.m., the pictured individual utilizing the pictured red or burnt orange in color newer model two-door Ford Mustang drove past the victim. The subject then reportedly exited from the passenger side of the vehicle armed with two handguns and ran up to the victim, demanding the victim’s property. The victim told police that he attempted to flee, at which point the subject allegedly shot him and fled the scene.

The perpetrator is described as a black male possibly in his early to mid-20s in age with medium length twists or braids in his hair. He was last seen wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt with the words “Who Wanted It” written on a white design on the back of the hoodie.
