NOPD Searching For Three Suspects in Double Shooting on Union Street

NOPD Searching For Three Suspects in Double Shooting on Union Street

The NOPD has released an image of three suspects who are wanted in connection with a double shooting incident that occurred on February 13, 2018 in the 700 block of Union Street.

At about 3:17 p.m., a fight reportedly occurred among a group of approximately 10 individuals on Union Street near Carondelet Street. One man in the group allegedly produced a handgun and fired into the group, striking one victim in the leg and a second victim in the head area. Both victims were transported to an area hospital by EMS.

With patrols throughout the area, NOPD was in position to respond immediately to the incident and secure the scene. Investigation into the incident is ongoing.

As investigation into the incident progressed, detectives were able to positively identify the three pictured subjects as the perpetrators in this incident.

A previous surveillance image released later in the day of the incident showed one of the suspects, who is believed to be the subject pictured above at left wearing a blue shirt and light colored jeans.
