NOPD Searching for Subject in Fifth District Gunfight

The NOPD is searching for a subject in connection with an incident involving gunfire in the Fifth District.

 

On Tuesday, December 19, 2017 around 4:20 p.m., the occupants of two vehicles (burgundy sedan and a sport utility vehicle) encountered each other at the intersection of Tennessee and Urquhart streets.

 

A gun battle erupted between the occupants of the vehicles.

 

It was learned during the course of the investigation that the occupants of the burgundy vehicle both sustained gunshot wounds to the body.

 

Through physical evidence and witness accounts, it was determined that the passenger of the burgundy vehicle was firing from the vehicle during this incident.

 

The wanted subject, Mr. Richard Green (B/M DOB: 9/16/1989), is wanted for illegal discharge of a weapon during a crime of violence and felon in possession of a firearm.
