NOPD Arrests Two for Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Controlled Substance

NOPD Arrests Two for Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Controlled Substance

NOPD has apprehended Kedrick Riley (DOB: 10-30-1995) and Desmond Taylor (DOB: 9-26-1996) for multiple offenses, including possession of a stolen firearm.

 

On February 16, 2017, Riley and Taylor were apprehended during a traffic stop in the 7000 block of Morrison Drive. During the investigation, Seventh District officers discovered that the offenders had possession of a stolen NOPD-issued firearm and additional NOPD items as well as narcotics.

 

The two were charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of stolen things, unauthorized use of moveables, and possession of a controlled substance.
